Norway PhD Research Fellowship in Immunology

The Department of Immunology at the Norwegian Research Group provides international applicants with a three-year PhD Research Fellowships.

The fellowship period is 3 years with the overall aim of successful completion of a PhD degree. The position is funded by the Norwegian Research Council under grant nr. 274352. Preferred starting date is September 1, 2018.

  • Annual salary is based on state salary schedule Ltr. 50-57 (NOK 436 900 – 490 900) depending on qualifications

  • Master degree in a relevant field of research is mandatory and a medical degree is considered an advantage
  • Experience with animal work (Felasa C certificate), in vitro cell culture (preferably of primary cells) and cellular immunology techniques are considered a strong advantage
  • Proficient in written and oral English (international applicants must document these skills prior to admission to the PhD programme)
