The Rhodes Trust warmly welcomes application from top-achieving students from West African Countries. The Fully-Funded Rhodes Scholarship aims to assist West African Students who wish to pursue their higher studies at the University of Oxford.

The Rhodes Scholarship program, established in 1903, is the oldest international scholarship program in the world and one of the most prestigious. The program is administered by Rhodes Trust in Oxford.

ELIGIBILITY

Nationality/citizenship: You must be a citizen of one of the following countries:

Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, the island of Saint Helena, Senegal, Sierra Leone, São Tomé and Principe and Togo.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicants must:

a. have been resident in one or more of the countries listed above for at least five of the last ten years.

b. have reached your 19th and not passed your 26th birthday on October 20220 and ready to give the very intense international competition for places at the University of Oxford.

c. have completed an undergraduate degree with the highest qualification

d. meet the English Language Proficiency requirements of the University of Oxford

a. A certified copy of your birth certificate (or an affidavit of birth) / A National Identity Card / A valid passport

b. An official transcript

c. Evidence of residency within the region for at least five of the last ten years, for example official school records.

d. Evidence of English Language Proficiency, a curriculum vitae, a personal statement and a head-and-shoulders colour photograph (jpg format)
