The scholarship “Deutschlandstipendium” is awarded to enrolled students and people who start studying on winter semester 2019/20. Applying for Deutschlandstipendium does not mean you apply for studying at Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
The Scholarship Fund is going into its eleventh round: from the Winter Semester 2019/2020 we will once again be awarding scholarships from the national scholarship programme (Deutschlandstipendium). Students who perform outstandingly academically and are involved in special social engagement can each receive € 300 per month for a year from the Ruhr-Universität Scholarship Fun
The goal of this scholarship program is the improvement of students’ study conditions. Ideally, it should enable you to fully focus on your studies.

Students of all nationalities and all subjects who are enlisted at the RUB. It is possible for basically every course of studies to be sponsored, for example also second degrees, complementary studies or master programmes. Part-time students and future students waiting for their admission are also able to apply. Postgraduate students are excluded from the sponsorship.
